With over 35 years in the automotive industry, Mike is President and CEO of Star Auto Authority. Mike spearheads business growth and development, strategic vision and company culture. In his free time, Mike enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, golfing, and reading non-fiction.
Bill Wilczynski
General Manager
Bill joined Star Auto Authority in 2008. In 2010 he was promoted to General Manager. Bill holds an Automotive Technology degree from Universal Technical Institute (UTI). In his free time, Bill enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. His hobbies include boating, spending time outdoors, and completing home renovations.
Kenneth Petersen
Body Shop Manager
Kenneth has been in the automotive industry since 1987 and recently joined our team at Star Auto Authority in October, 2022. In his spare time, Kenneth enjoys spending quality time with his family, bowling, and vacationing in Hayward, WI.
Christopher Farina
Assistant Body Shop Manager
With over 41 years in the automotive industry, Christopher brings a wealth of knowledge and hands-on expertise to the team. He is proudly I-CAR Platinum certified, demonstrating his commitment to the highest standards of quality and repair excellence. In his spare time, Christopher enjoys writing and recording original music, as well as playing guitar and singing.
David Wilson
Client Convenience Agent
David is a Chicago Police Academy graduate with 40+ years of combined law enforcement, educational safety and corporate security experience including executive roles with Wonderbread/Hostess and (Jiffy Lube) Heartlane Automotive. In his spare time, he enjoys long bike rides in the forest preserves.
Gabriel Pantoja
Auto Body Tech
Gabriel Pantoja, an accomplished Auto Body Tech with an impressive 28-year tenure in the automotive industry, commenced his journey with Star in October 2023, where his wealth of experience and expertise has been instrumental in enhancing the team's capabilities and delivering top-notch service to clients.
Bob Quig
Auto body Technician
Bob has been in the automotive repair industry since 1976, and has been with Star Auto Authority since 2018. He has an Associate Degree in Auto Mechanics from College of Lake County. Bob enjoys restoring antique cars, metal detecting, and bike riding in his spare time.
Antonio Alvarez Garcia
Detailing Technician Manager
With over 25 years in the automotive industry, Antonio joined our team in 2002 as a Detailing Technician Manager. He oversees all vehicle detailing services from start to finish and assists with vehicle washes during peak periods.
Elizabeth Siete
Business Operations Manager
Elizabeth is our Business Operations Manager. She has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from DeVry University, and joined Star Auto Authority in 2014. Elizabeth enjoys horseback riding during summer, trips to Lake Geneva, reading books, watching movies, and bowling with friends.
Onofrio Buttitta
Refinishing Technician
Ono has been in the collision industry since 1990. He joined Star in 2017. Ono attended technical school at Istituto D’Arte Palermo (Italy), and has a degree in Fine Art and an ASE Certification in refinishing. He takes great pride in his workmanship, and enjoys painting vehicles in a professional manner with attention to detail. Ono enjoys cooking and baking in his spare time.
